Here is a list of the USAT 2012 Championship
events. Short Course Duathlon Nationals take
place in Tucson on April 28. Long Course
Duathlon Nationals are June 3 at the
Blackwater Duathlon in Cambridge, Maryland.
Great Britain's Katie Hewison and Portugal's Sergio Silva won gold in Spain. Matt Russell led the American men with a 6th place finish. Nicole Laselle was the top American woman in 9th place.
Joerie Vansteelant set a new course record at
Zofingen while Erika Csomor's long winning
streak came to an end with New Zealand's
Melanie Burke winning the women's World
title.
With a top 9 finish on the 2012 Olympic
Course, the top two American men and women
could earn a spot on the 2012 team. Two
women met this criteria while none of the men
earned their spot on the team.
Duathlon.com is presently seeking contributos to the

SPRINT distance - no ITU world champs
LONG Distance - don't know

The SPRINT event is OFF.
