I Need a Coach
Email inquires to: ESchwar55@aol.com
I need a coach because:
- I want to go faster!
- I want to do my first triathlon or duathlon
- I don't know how to train
- I need to add structure to my training
- I don't know how to peak
- I lack motivation to follow a training program
- I start out every year strong but I am burned out by July
From beginners to Olympians, every athlete can benefit from a coach. Coaching
provides many advantages:
- the beginner will learn the basic principles of training
- a structured program keeps duathletes of every level focused so you meet your goals
- offers variety to the training you may be accustomed to
- advice on race preparation and race nutrition from an experienced multisport athlete
- helps you set higher goals and create a plan to reach them
- provides a sounding board for ideas
- can prevent you from overtraining
With every coaching program an initial phone call is a crucial step to ensure that you
receive training geared to meet your needs. This upfront analysis will determine
your athletic history, goals, and available training time. Then you receive a
customized plan to help you reach new levels. Follow up communication helps
ensure the program is working.
