John Phillips??? Please!!! The American to watch at Zofingen is good ol' J. Cech. After his performance yesterday in Rimini the boy might just be unstopable in his age group.

Just giving you a hard time Phillips. I think all the Americans are going to have good standings come Sunday. It will be intersting to see what the outcomes will be based on the fact that all the athletes had four more months to train for this event. From what I hear, the cold, wet, and windy weather has always played a big role. This might not be the case this year. Good luck to all. It is going to be a long, hard and rewarding day for everyone.

GO OLI!
I'm sad you won't be in Hawaii this year.
With another win he'll be in the Powerman Zofingen history books for a long time!
I wish everyone a great race and a good experience!
GOOD LUCK!

After doing Powerman Zofingen.I think Jonathan Hall will crush the bike.If he rides like he did in 1998 in Spain Oliveier Beernhard could be in for a long day!!!!! Good luck Jeff Timm !!!! I will return next year.

Yeh, what did happen to Cech at Powerman Holland? I tried to bring up the results up but they are all screwy. Between trying to decipher the ridiculous code on the Powerman Holland web page, I don't know if I missed his name or what is going on. Someone please clarify!

Sad to say that I wont be in Zofingen. Two days before the Worlds in Rimini I got knocked down by a car while crossing the road on my bike. No serious injury but I landed heavily enough to be injured. After the frustration of Rimini having raced with a numb foot as a result of siatica I will not head to Zofingen. All the year went down the drain in one accident but I will be back asap. I have my health and was very lucky not to be seriously injured. After all the events of last week it has given me the perspective on what we do as sport and it is hardly anything to get me down.

I sure wish there were more Americans on the start list. Didn't we invent this sport? Anyway, hope to be there next year. Good luck to all.

Where is the Powerman Family?
Since I sea the Powerman Zofingen the first time, 10 years ago, this race was fascinating me. And beside the sport it was even more this "Familiy Spirit" I felt between the Athletes, who was fascinating me. This race wo is happening just outside my door, bring me in the Duathlon and Triathlon sport. Without Powerman Zofingen I never whould race or work as a Journalist for several Triathlon Magazines.
The race is organised still perfect, but in the last years I'm missing the Powerman Familiy, all the Athletes from all around the world, who meet every year here in Zofingen. Where are you???
When I look on the starting list, so the most Athletes come from Europe, so where are you Aussies, Americans, South Africans, etc? We have here more free Homestays than Athletes who are using it! And I hope to see you all next year here in Zofingen again, without you the Powerman Family is not complete!
So, feel free to write me the reasons, why you are not traveling to Zofingen anymore, or if you need any information or help to come to Switzerland.
