A field of over 300 turned out for the fourth Barkin' Dog Duathlon, the first of three races in the Mile High Duathlon Series. Pete Valentyik, who hasn't raced since his 34th place finish in Ironman New Zealand on March 1, won the men's race over Lance Shimomura. Katie Blackett overtook Giovanna White on the last run to win the women's race.
