Australia's Jonathan Hall, the 1997 Duathlon World Champion, was an easy winner in Affoltern, the location of the 2003 Duathlon World Championsihps

The schedule dates for the 2003 World Championships is 29-31 Aug 2003 in Affoltern,CH which is near Zurich,CH.
The race website is www.albispowerduathlon.ch but there is not much on there at this time.

I am writing a report on the course for my national federation. I will post it on Duathlon.com also. Bear with me a few days as i am training for Alpharetta also.

I checked out the town and course just after Zofingen and found it to be very similar to the course in St Wendel GER back in 1998. I found the countryside to the east and south very beautiful and would recommend that housing will be much easier to find as well as travel to and from compared to the north toward Zurich which has heavy traffic from day commuters who work in the city. I am looking forward to reading the review of the race by Jono! With the late August date for short course it is possible to do Zofingen the week after- long or short course.
