Uh oh. Looks like Eagleman is going up against Spud Tri on same day. Both prize money. And the new big prize money race in Annapolis and Columbia are butting heads. You think these people could have talked to avoid this.

Forgot about the Duathlon at Bethlehem Steel in Baltimore on June 27 against Flannery. Choices, choices, choices.

I have been doing the Columbia Association races for several years. They are fun, safe, very well run, all the competition you could ask for, and the triathlons are filled with waiting lists of people wanting to enter. The registration is already open earlier this year so if you want to enter now is the time. The duathlons are also great races and Blackwater du will be at a good time to stay fit for the worlds or natl. championship. It's too bad there are schedule conflicts with other races but these races have been on the same weeks each year for several years. It would be best when setting up new races if they could check past schedules so as to not have conflicts with existing races already scheduled...then we could do both!!

Spud Tri was always that weekend. Eagleman moved this year. Many times the only thing that dictates when a race is held is when the venue says it is. The Annapolis Seaport Tri (what I believe it is called) is either May 9 or 16.

Most of the time these race directors purposely compete against each other.
