I think Team Magic had some sponsor problems with Tennesse; they posted something aout Tennessee being dropped a few months ago. Be thankful that we at least have Alabama, given how few people show up for long duathlons.

tough to make a go of it when only 275 people show up.

Is PM Z back to 8,5km on the first run? Their web page states different, 10km (2 laps of 5km). Geezz every time I turn around something is changing with these Powerman races. We DU-athoners need a little consistency in these distances... I'm switching to Ironmans. More fatties do those races anyways. I'll be able to blend right in.

hey greg, you think the participation decrease is probably a result of the switch from spring to fall?

it seems that long course du has more races now than in the last 2 yrs or so. Hopefully with the IM trend going crazy maybe some triathletes will realize that LC du's are an awesome prep race for their IM

I think you are right that with the IM craze that it has to benefit long distance Duathlons. Also offers crap swimmers like myself a chance to compete.

What happened to Powerman UK? Thought that had a decent field last year.
