Tim DeBoom Commits to Ironman Germany

Two-time Ironman Hawaii winner Tim DeBoom has been added to the Ironman Germany field. The race takes place July 11, 2004. The field also includes the top three finishers from Ironman Hawaii - Peter Reid, Rutger Beke, and Cameron Brown. Stefan Holzner, winner of the 2003 race, is also entered.

The race is now sold out with a field of 1800. Results from 2003 are below.

COmmits to IM Germany - why does it seem that half the field that commits to races never show up - and they 3 or 4 other athletes just show up the day before the race....Triathlon is a strange sport
