The first race in the 2004 Race To End Hunger kicks off Sunday, May 2 in Key Biscayne, Florida. This is one of four races in the 2004 Series that include both a triathlon and a duathlon. Key Biscayne is located a few minutes from downtown Miami. The race starts in Crandon Park. Both the triathlon and duathlon start at 7:30am, with the triathletes swimming in the Atlantic Ocean.

This is one of several races in the series that includes the Danimals Dash Duathlon, for kids aged 8-13. The will compete in a duathlon that starts with a mile run, 5k bike, and

This is Dannon's 11^th year supporting the series, which benefits America's Second Harvest. In 2003 the Series donated $100,000 to the organization.
