On Sunday the ITU World Cup schedule resumes from the Olympic break with a visit to Cancun, Mexico. Twenty-five women and fifty-one men are on the start list. Siri Lindly, who has been on fire since mid summer, leads the women's field. She will be looking for her second World Cup victory. Michellie Jones will challenge Lindley, as will Jackie Gallagher, who is still looking to return to top form.
Among the stars in the men's field are Dmitry Gaag, Gilberto Gonzalez, Martin Krnavek, Oscar Galindez, and Matthew Reed.
US competitors include:
Women: Siri Lindley, Becky Gibbs, Amanda Pagon, Callahan Hatfield, Laurie Hug, and kelly Rees.
Men: Michael Smedley, Victor Plata, Andy Kelsey, Eric Burgan, Brian Lavelle, Mark Welch.
