September 24, 2004 - WTC is pleased to announce an exciting schedule of qualifying events for the upcoming calendar year. The schedule includes eight half-Ironman distance events and 19 Ironman distance races.
Please note the following changes:
Ironman Western Australia, the Ironman Arizona Triathlon and the Half Ironman Monaco Triathlon are new events
The Spec-Savers Ironman South Africa Triathlon and Ironman U.K. Triathlon have increased from half-Ironman to Ironman distance
The Honu Half Ironman Triathlon has increased from Olympic-distance to half-Ironman distance
The Ironman France Triathlon venue has move from Gerardmer to Nice, France
Ironman Malaysia is no longer a part of the Ironman qualifying series
