Thanks Greg. Tim's a bit overtrained, and I didn't ride a Greyhound bus from Boulder like Tim did. Now, that's tough!

Just out of curiosity, what ever happened to Jon Hastings? I know he had some training problems late last year, but I haven't seen him do any duathlons yet this year. I would have thought he would do this one.

I was told that JH is nursing a knee injury. It's a real shame; I was looking forward to him racing.

All of us here in scenic southcentral PA are thrilled by Josh "Hot Rod" Beck's big win this weekend!

Why, we remember when H-Rod came out for his first road bike ride - gym shorts, t-shirt, sneakers, lime green Trek - and he could already hang with the "A" riders.

Congratulations, Josh - it's very cool to see all of your hard work paying off and it's very, very cool to see that nice guys DON'T finish last!

I remember being on a flight about 5 or 6 years ago and "mlaser" Mark Laser happened to sit next to me. He saw some Worlds information that I was reading and mentioned that a training friend of his from south central PA was a real up-and-comer, and was REALLY GOOD.

Mark was right - he was referring to Josh Beck.
