Ironman New Zealand Saturday, March 3 2.4m swim, 112m bike, 26.2m run
Cameron Brown overcame an 8 minute deficit midway through the run to overtake Peter Sandvang late in the race and win Ironman New Zealand. This was Brown's first Ironman victory after two second place finishes in New Zealand. Lisa Bentley came from behind to win Ironman New Zealand for the second straight year.
