1.5k swim, 40k bike, 10k run - draft legal

Olympic Champion Simon Whitfield made his 2001 World Cup debut a winner, outrunning Hunter Kemper of the US by 5 seconds over the final 10k. The lead pack consisted of about 10 men coming off the bike, and from there it was a footrace as the top 3 men finished within 13 seconds of each other.
