Peter Reid, runnerup of IM Canada in 1996, sits next to 1999 winner Chuckie V at the press conference in Penticton.  After a a fracture to his foot in April, Reid spent a lot of time recovering.  He feels he needs to have one Ironman in him before racing in Hawaii.  "My plan is to peak for Hawaii.  This is just a big training day for me," says Reid. With an eye on Hawaii, Reid says he has limited his taper for Canada to just one week.
