According to www.ironmanlive.com Ironman Brazil will be under new management in 2001.  As part of the change the race will move from Porto Seguro to Florianopolis Island, referred to in Brazil as the Island of 100 beaches.  The 2001 race will take place on May 26 with 45 slots available for Ironman Hawaii.  Na Promocoes is the new management group, and three time Ironman Brazil winner Ken Glah will be a paort of the new management team.
