Description:

A race using a combination of foot and bike from the heights of Gorak Shep, close to Everest base camp, along the world renown Everest trail down to Jiri some 150km away.
Participants will be flown into Lukla(2840m) where they will leave their MTB's and embark on an 8 day trek(including 2 rest days for acclimatisation) upto Gorak Shep(5140m).
The foot race will start from Gorak Shep and continue back to Lukla over 2 days. Competitors will then collect their bikes in Lukla and ride the final 3 day stage down to Jiri where return transport to Kathmandu will be waiting.
