This is a sprint distance off - road race. It starts with a 2.? mile off road run(pavement, fire lanes, and trail) 10 mile mountain bike ride(3 time Xterra World Champ Ned Overend said it was one of the most challenging bike courses he has ever ridden/Inside Tri 98/. Then you run the same 2.? mile course to finsh this great race.
This event is part of the IX annual Piney Hills Fall Classic race weekend. After Saturdays Mtnbike du national we host NORBA's American Mountain Bike Challenge United States Finals Sunday. This event is also a Junior Olympic qualifer.
We also have a Road bike tour Saturday morning and then free kids bike program call the Kids Kup. So bring your whole family to Ruston, Louisiana for the Piney Hills Fall Classic weekend.
