Bike suggestions for beginner duathlon Reply
by laterice on September 13, 2009 Mail this to a friend!
I will start training for my first duathlon (6/2010) very soon and I've been researching road bikes and got pretty overwhelmed by the selections. I wanted to ask for any suggestions for a beginner's road bike under $1000.

I also want to ask if there is an advantage to buying a WSD bike over a unisex bike. All replies welcome.

Thanks!
Laterice

The best piece of advice is to go to a reputable shop and be fitted, there is nothing more important. From there take their recommendations and start your research. Perhaps a local tri-club has some female members and they too can advise. Good luck!!
