First Timers for Powerman AL

I am not doing the double but will be in Alabama. This will be just my 2nd DU, the 1st being a year ago in the beginner division of Whistlestop. I am just hoping to survive, as I have not been able to run in the last 7 weeks. Hope to see other under prepared biginners out there.

Sorry, I'll be there, but not underprepared. I raced four times this season so I'm getting the hang of it. I wasn't smart enough at the time to try Power AL this year. I was probably still recovering from shin splints (run overtraining). I'll be shooting for 2:30. I may hit closer to 2:45 or 2:50, but I'll be shooting for the stars.
If you want to try a slightly shorter distance between now and then AND you can make it over to SC, you may want to look into Set-Up Inc.'s Orange Crush on Nov. 13th. I think it will be a good race to try the longer distances before early next season.
Good luck and keep training until Spring. I'll see you in AL.
