Roger that Don. Hard to say until one actually sees the loops, but I think Edinburgh has the potential to be a brutally tough course that may crack more than a few. I would look for times to be at least 10 min over anyone's recent best at international distance. Just pray for dry roads for the descents!

Hi Lee,
Looking at the lap elevations reminds me of the Worlds that took place in Germany and Switzerland. Similar lap courses. Loved the uphill runs and bike sections but didn't like the downhill run or the steep downhill bike in Germany. Lost time on the downhills.

Hey Don,

I switched over at the end of July from general volume to hill repeats and speedwork. I still fear that course and hope it's enough to be respectable and avoid cracking.

What's your physical status? Will you be making a comeback for Spain next year?

Lee, Good luck in Scotland. it sounds like you are ready. I'm not sure I'm up for any comebacks. It seems everytime I start to do some quality work my body breaks down so it's hard to stay motivated. I still run or bike everyday but at a recreational pace, usually with my wife. Take care and have a good trip!
