Greg,
Are the worlds qualifying slots limited to age groups or also include Athena/Clydesdale?
Are there any plans to extend the Du Grand Prix series in 2004 to Athena/Clydesdale as well?
Thank you,
Evelyn

Evelyn:
For short course duathlon ITU does not recognize an Athena/Clyde division. I am not sure about Long Course. You might want to contact the USAT office or ITU. At the last long course WC your age group did not use all 18 slots so if you did the qualifying race you would be able to attend as an age grouper. It is well worth the experience and this years long course worlds is a true long course event.
Concerning the 2004 USAT Grand Prix Series we need to follow the USAT rankings guidelines. Until USAT approves a Clydesdale/Athena national ranking I need to follow suit with their rules.
