i am a 44y/o skin doctor.i have been biking for 3 yrs with 150km weekly mileage and running 3-5km occasionally.its my 1st time to join duathlon and i have 6wks to train what can i do to prepare?

Your biking mileage is fine. I'd gradually build your running mileage higher. Your run endurance is probably a limiter right now. On the bike add some race pace intensity workouts. Between 1 and 4 weeks out I'd do 2-3 workouts that simulate your race distance. Increase your intensity with each one of those workouts.
