Does anyone else find it interesting that there is a new DUATHLON on the schedule, and it is a POWERMAN which everyone seems to want, yet THERE ARE NO ABSOLUTELY NO COMMENTS posted in the message boards about it? Personally, I can't wait, but what seems to be the problem with everyone else?

I'm surprised at the lack of responses as well, but it may partly be a reflection of the overall lower volume of activity on this board to begin with. I'm glad to see this addition to the fall calendar and look forward to an event at this distance in October.

I am very pleased that there is another PM race here in the US and I really hope it can do well.
Ive been injured for a while and looks as if this season is over for me thus Ive been laying low when it comes to du stuff.

I did notice, and I'm planning to race Powerman Florida.
Since San Antonio, FL looks like WAY too long of a drive from Houston and I do have an extra airline flight I need to use before 2009, it looks like I'll be paying a lot for bike shipping or airline fees. Nice "late season" venue.

Saw the race and am interested, but both the Mrs. and I are going to Rimini the week before so maybe next year. Its also only a week before American Zofingen, so my race fees would be going to McGovern if we weren't racing worlds. Still - happy to see a new fall Du in the states and hopefully the race gets a good turnout. Looking forward to hearing how it goes for everyone!

I agree that it is great to see another Powerman event in North America. I think that it is going to be tough timing because it is a week after the World Championships in Rimini. I wish they would have done it a month later in November.
Glad to see its here! Hopefully they can get one started here in Canada.
