The Asian Champs for next year is still to be confirmed so will post here once it is finalised. The one race though that is on and may well be the championships for the 3rd straight year is the "Mekong River International Multi-Sport Festival" in the north of Thailand. Event details will be posted at www.thaitriathlon.org
Vijitr and his team put on an outstanding three day festival consisting of Friday - Aquathon, Saturday - Duathlon and Sunday - Triathlon. The experience is worth the cost of travel alone and no expense is spared in putting on a full schedule of pre and post race Thai entertainment

The dates for the Mekong International Multi Sport Festival is March 27, 28 and 29th.

There is a good one this weekend in Philipinnes - the International Duathlon and the biggest their for the year. www.triathlon.org.ph ask to speak with Melvin Fausti as he runs the show and duathlon is very popular and funded with at least 3 races in the National series. In addition, the Singapore Duathlon http://www.cityduathlon.com/ or http://www.triathlonsingapore.org/ has more than 1000 competitors and will be held April/May 09. There will also be a Powerman Singapore Nov 2009. I don't know much about races outside of SE Asia

Hey Raf
Do you know the Powerman Singapore bike course??..is it flat same as Malaysia ???...I know that it's very hot and humid on both countries.
