Hello All
After few years of running (anything from 5k to Marathon distances) I've decided to get back into cycling and what better way to combine both is to get into the sport of Duathlon (I am no swimmer); I ready I lot of Tri topics and they talk about brick sessions running off the bike, so for a duathlete would you use the same kind of brick session? or would you vary it a little do brick run to bike one week then bike to run the next?
Regards
Roland

Welcome, duathlon is a great sport. It is generally a good idea to include both types of brick sessions, you want to teach your body to handle the novelty of both situations. It also might be a good idea to try a few practice duathlon sessions where you run, bike and then run so you're familiar with it before your first race.

Minnesota has a great duathlon scene, it is particularly strong in May and the fall when the weather cools. You can see a lot of events at the event calendar on Gear West Bike and Tri's website.
