Just wondering if anyone has a supplement (legal of course!) that has helped them improve their speed endurance and recovery?
I am aware of common supplements such as creatine and amino acids, I took these 10 years ago for about 6months and I did find at the time that they improved my speed endurance and increased my lactic threshold. They also, increase my mass, I guess due to the water retention, but the increased strength which the supplements provided allowed me to carry my increased mass without a problem. I also found that these supplements enabled me to train harder.
Having said that, I am not too keen in using these supplements again. I thought that in the past 10 years that supplements would have been developed which are more suited to duathletes; supplements which enable an athlete to remain light, not build bulk, recover faster, and to improve endurance/speed endurance.
Any thoughts?
