Excellent bike for a first time racer  Time owned: 3 to 6 months
Not to long ago, it dawned on me that I can run, I can swim and I can bike. With that, i began training for several local area triathlons. A friend sugested, I take a look at some Tri bikes, as to it would aid my racing. I've always been a little partial to Trek myself, but came into the market with an open mind and only the bike articles from triathlete mag to aid me. After trying several other models, the Cervelo One, QR Kilo, and Felt S32 (this bike has sex appeal wirtten all over it) the Hilo 1000 seemed to be the best fit, and seemed to make me feel much more at ease while riding at higher speeds. I did however, end up replacing the seat, it was more of a road seat then something tri. But the bike has never let me down. The wheels aren't top notch, and would also be a worthy upgrade to the bike. Other then that, its the best purchase i've made thus far in this sport.
