work fine for me  Time owned: 6 to 12 months
well 4 me the i control is o.k. for what i use it 4.i think if your a serious athlete you should get a serious watch. this is not in all cases but if you spend 25 to 50 bucks on a watch and your using it hardcore how long do you expect it 2 last. But over all i think it gets the job done.

Best watch I have ever owned  Time owned: more than 12 months
I must have bought the one good watch in the production run. The turning bezel is a welcome inmprovement over trying to remember which combination of side buttons to push to get tothe desired function. I have worn this watch for over 2 years and I am well pleased with it's performance

Terrible watch  Time owned: 6 to 12 months
The watch band fell apart less than a year after I started wearing it. As if this weren't enough the dial for moving through the watch features fell off. Not that it mattered because it never worked right anyway. Attempting to change the settings on this thing was impossible. Why would the timer not set to zero? Eventually the watch stopped working all together after about a year.

stay away  Time owned: more than 12 months
saw these at the local hecht's dept store on sale- there was a huge pile of these, probably 19 bucks. big mistake.
I agree- the dial is a ridiculous, poorly chosen feature- it doesn't always click smoothly to the next mode, sometimes it skips through all the modes.. good luck if you are trying to use this while running.
I agree- how do some of these things make it to the market place?

i've seen better from timex  Time owned: 3 to 6 months
overall, it was a good try but Timex needed to do more to this watch. the turn knob is extremely difficult at times (pretty much when you wear it) to operate. I've had to literally take off the watch and set the mode i wanted and then put it back on, ummm....not very athlete friendly. on the good note, I do like the general look and design of the i-Control.

The I-control is garbage  Time owned: more than 12 months
Well, first, the I control feature is useless, the wheel is hard to turn, and when you do turn it, you have to try 5 times to get it on the setting you want.

Then, it all fell apart after a few months... the stupid plastic pieces all fell off and now the I-control doesn't work, you have to turn the little knob which is even worse.

Over all, the shittiest watch I've ever seen.

Thumbs down for the i-Control  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I have owned various timex watches over the 13 years I have been competing in sports and must say that I have no idea how this watch made it past its initial trial if there ever was one. The dial and side button are impossible to turn if your fingers are at all sweaty. The indiglo light comes on every time the side button is accidentally touched and the button itself is bulky and often gets pressed. The i-Control is easily the worst watch I have ever purchased especially for any kind of athletic use!
