Description: The Aerial transcends reality. An exhilarating blend of power and grace, this bike is the “stuff of dreams.” The first collaboration between Quintana Roo and Merlin has already earned high praise with its 78" seat tube, sloped top tube and space-age technology. Pure adrenaline.
Without any question Merlin does some of the best welding in the World in titanium. But that may be all that they're good at. This is clear from the design of the Aerial. Why are their no aero tubes to match the famous Carbonaero fork? Why would they make the top tube sloping down, then supply it with a stem to raise you up? Why would they give you a forward seat tube angle, but then show it with a Thompson Seatpost angled back? If this is the bike of "dreams", who would put Hutchinson clinchers on instead of say Coninental Tubulars? Need we say more? Poor frame design, and poor parts selection by QR.
